Equilab International Signed Clinical Trial Agreements with Mayapada Healthcare Group for Global Clinical Trials
Equilab International and Mayapada Healthcare Group signed Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA) on 4 September for a global phase 3 diabetes study. The trial will take place at Mayapada Hospital Jakarta Selatan and Mayapada Hospital Kuningan. Representatives attending the ceremony included Ronal Simanjuntak, President Director of Equilab International; dr. Dini Handayani, Chief Medical Officer of Mayapada Healthcare Group; and dr. Deasy Sugesty, Director of Mayapada Hospital Kuningan. The agreement formalizes ongoing cooperation between both organizations to conduct multi-center global clinical trial in Indonesia.
During the event, Mayapada Healthcare Group presented updates on the development of its clinical research units and its ongoing collaboration with Equilab. This study marks the third collaboration between the two organizations, reflecting increased private healthcare sector involvement in regional research initiatives. dr. Equilab formally acknowledged Mayapada Hospitals for reaching 100% of its target patient recruitment for an ongoing study, demonstrating recruitment performance across site teams. Equilab highlighted the main factors international pharmaceutical sponsors evaluate when selecting clinical trial sites.
